Apple bagged $3 trillion market capitalization on Friday

Apple marked a new milestone on Friday, 30 June 2023, as its market capitalization topped $3 trillion today. Apple’s shares jumped about 1%, taking it to a new level. Prior to this, it was in need of $190.73 to reach $3 trillion.

In January 2022, Apple was the first company to touch a $3 trillion market cap during intraday trading. However, they failed to close at that point and managed to conquer it today.

The milestone comes in at a time when Apple was expecting that its current quarter revenue would fall to about 30% in May.

It is during a year of turbulence in the sector that investors see the company as one of the bright spots. Lately, tech giants have been emphasizing doing more with less. Ever since the pandemic, many tech giants have also been laying off thousands of employees.

According to reports, shares of Apple to date stand at about 47% per year.
